Kid’s Quest
Kid’s Quest offers programs for newborns through fourth grade. We are committed to providing a fun and safe environment where we can show children God’s love for them every weekend.
Our volunteer teachers commit to teaching every other week, and we keep class sizes small. We see this as a real benefit to the kids: they get to know their teachers and each other very well. These friendships that develop often continue outside of church.
Classrooms
- Discovery - Infants to 3 ½ yrs

What Do They Learn?
The curriculum we use in Kid’s Quest is integrated and builds upon each other – First Look for young children through Pre-K and 252 Basics for Kindergarten through 4th grade. FX, WellSpring’s fun monthly family experience, also is based on this curriculum.
Babies and children up to 3 ½ years of age: Our loving volunteers spend time reading, rocking, playing and singing Bible songs with these young children in an effort to let them know how precious they are to God and to us.
Preschoolers: Our teachers help pre-schoolers learn the ways of God through reading and discussing Bible stories, and by combining games, crafts and other age-appropriate activities. These three core principles underlie their activities and conversations each week:
- God made me
- God loves me
- Jesus wants to be my friend forever
Kindergarten through 4th graders: Our curriculum includes 150 Bible stories and is based on a Biblical principle, or virtue, as the framework for each month. Each age group learns about the same virtue each month but at a level suitable to that child’s understanding. This allows a family with more than one child to discuss and share the same message together!
- A large-group, creatively taught program is part of each week that includes media, stories and drama.
- Small group activities (by grade level) include a variety of games and experiences meant to promote discussion and life application of the lesson and most importantly build relationships among the leader and friends in the group.
- Worship is always included so kids experience and learn how to celebrate who God is and what He's done for them.
Partnering with Parents
We provide take-home handouts to help parents become aware of what their children are learning and to continue that learning at home. Because what happens at home is more important than what happens at church, family virtue packs can also be purchased each month to provide additional support to parents and kids.
Safety and Security
The safety of your children is a priority. Parents and children are given matching name badges, and we require that each child be dropped off to their respective classrooms and picked up by a responsible parent/adult. Also, for your child's safety all Kid’s Quest teachers go through a security procedure requiring them to complete a questionnaire and full background check.
