FX - Family Experience
How do you explain something that is so different? It’s easier to watch for yourself…check out the highlight video to the left.
FX- The Family Experience is a monthly, 50-minute live show that is designed to entertain elementary-aged children as well as adults using video, music, interactive games and skits.
Virtue-Based
Each month's episode is based around a biblical virtue. There’s humor on many levels, all cleverly wrapped around that virtue. The virtue examples by the characters will provide conversation references for you to build upon at home.
What to Expect
The program’s two hosts have an Abbott and Costello-type relationship. Every show opens with Glen trying to explain the virtue of the month to Scott, his hyperactive and misguided co-host. The show takes place on the set of a kid’s clubhouse where recurring cast members act out a virtue-based story.
The really cool part? WellSpring continues to teach the virtue throughout the remainder of the month to kids on Sundays, further reinforcing the message. The entire system works together with amazing results. It has not been uncommon to get stories back from parents about how their children are acting out a virtue they learned. How many 7-year-olds empty the trash in the bathroom? We have reports of it happening after an FX show on “initiative”…just one example among many.
FX is held on the first Sunday of each month at 9 a.m. Shows run monthly from September through May.
