Belize Partnership

WellSpring has a partnership with the village of San Pedro, located in the nation of Belize (situated in the heart of Central America). Our goal is to improve the lives of underprivileged Belizeans by providing help with education and improving their everyday living situation.

Each year a group from WellSpring travels to Belize as we continue to create long-lasting connections through our service and expression of love to the people there. These are just some examples of past projects: home construction, putting screening on homes in the village to keep bugs out, building a playground for the school, setting up computers in the schools, and training teachers and students on how to use the computers.

Future goals include:

• Providing support to enable business commerce in remote villages through funding for small business startups and small business education

• Improving the lives of Belizeans living in remote villages (building homes for underprivileged families that are comparable to the average Belizean home)

• Enabling education through partnerships with local schools (getting more computers into schools, student and teacher exchange programs, etc.)

• Designing the Belize mission trips to enable teens to participate in the future
